Being creative in the home

Summer is in full swing.
It’s the season you want to have a BBQ at the ocean, and hang out with your friends.
Itoshima is in Fukuoka, so a drive together is also a good idea.

I want to introduce a shop I found recently Itoshima that makes me so excited.

When you get out of your car, the ocean is right in front of you. The single white house nestled by the ocean is that shop.
The shop’s name is hanatolife.

The first floor is for picture framing, and the second floor is a hair salon run by a married couple.

When you enter the shop, you are greeted by dried flowers and other plants.

Originally, the shopkeeper Ishikawa’s parent’s home in Yanagawa was a picture framing shop. Made with a different sensibility than the Yanagawa shop, this is hanatolife.

Because the frame is made to order, it is made to suit the item you wish to display using the material, color, and size that you prefer.

You can put things like plants, pictures, or drawings from your children into the frame.
It’s fun to think of what to put in the frame!
It’s so wonderful to display your favorite things in a room without having to get yourself all worked up.

In other stores, there are a lot of times when you don’t get to see other choices of frames…
but if you consult the shopkeeper Mr. Ishikawa, I’m sure he will have many suggestions for you ~.

The sunset is so entrancing, isn’t it?
