A three day joint exhibition, “thought“, will be held from Thursday, March 19th to Saturday, March 21st at 883 Studio and Monné Porte in Hasami. Two such exhibitions have been held in the past, making this the third.
■What is “thought”?
“A joint exhibition focusing on brands and creators in all areas of clothing, food, and lifestyle, who are active mainly in Kyushu. This event will transmit a fresh message on the topic of ‘thought’ through a fusion of various genres. There will also be a market open to everyone, serving as a venue for a new form of communication.”
During these three days, a broad range of items can be found alongside one another: apparel, variety items, products, household goods, and more. Brands from across Kyushu come together in one place, so the energy of all the makers and buyers creates a lively atmosphere. This joint exhibition, “thought”, is planned and run by designers who have established their own brands centered on Fukuoka.
Most large scale exhibitions are held in Tokyo or Kansai, and this is probably the only place in Kyushu for brands to come together and communicate their messages on such a scale. I haven’t been yet, so I am definitely planning to go along this time.

※On Thursday, March 19th and Friday, March 20th, the event will be open to buyers only. On Saturday, March 21st, participating brands and creators will be selling their products in an event also open to the general public.
