Contents
K2 is a designing laboratory from Asia that starts in the spring of 2017 by collaboration between Kyushu University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and the world top class design department of science and engineering university in Korea id KAIST. Based on the international network of both schools, researchers, designers, engineers, thinkers, and visionaries who are active at the forefront of the world will come together to create global innovation, proposing vision, promoting advanced creative education, etc. from a global perspective We will set up a project and realize it through collaboration among industry, government and academics.
In the K2 Symposium 2017, Professor Barry Kates from Stanford University in the United States and Professor Kunpyo Lee from KAIST welcomed the lecture “Cities as Innovation Ecosystems”, and developments in Silicon Valley, East Asia, and Fukuoka I will explore the possibility of the future.
At the same time, we will also hold a talk session and presentation on the achievements of “K2 Winter School 2017” with the theme of Designing Future Cities.
