Opening of exhibition for DESIGN MUSEUM JAPAN STUDY, “Proposal for a Design Museum of the Future”
Opening on October 22nd (Saturday) and 23rd (Sunday) is the “DESIGN MUSEUM JAPAN STUDY EXHIBITION.”
The “DESIGN MUSEUM JAPAN STUDY Exhibition” will be held at “OPEN MUJI” in the MUJI Canal City Hakata (North Building 4th Floor) as well as the B1 Floor exhibition space at Crystal Canyon over two days on October 22nd (Saturday) and 23rd (Sunday), 2022.
Since April 2022, graduate students at Kyoto University have carried out preparations for this exhibition as part of their project class. Students researched themes from various angles discovered while doing field work in a Fukuoka town. They will exhibit these as proposals hypothesizing four themes for a “design museum” of the future at Canal City Hakata.
