The fifth Gastronomic Festival (La Fête de la Gastronomie) 2013 – an internationally renowned event that introduces French food to the world – will be held in Tokyo.
A supporting event – Art and Food: International Food Photography Festival – will be held in Fukuoka.
The theme of 2013’s Gastronomic Festival is the Mediterranean Sea

51 works displaying the talent and humor of well-known photographers will be on display at the Institut français du Japon – Kyushu and restaurants throughout the city.
